 My artifact story

I will talk about my piano. Piano has many white and black keyboards. Right keyboard sounds high sound, and left keyboard sounds low sound. There are many kind of piano. For example, there are ground piano and electronic piano.　They have different ways to sound each other. In many cases, ground piano is used in orchestra and music class. I learned the piano from I was 7 years old to I was 17 years old. My sister learns the piano too. I had used the electronic piano. When I was 13 years old, my mother and father bought a piano for me and my sister. Because I became an accompanist for my school choir competition. For three years of junior high school, I played the piano when choir competition every year. I practiced many times for the competition. I didn’t like playing the piano in the competition, because I am very nervous and could not play the piano well. When I was a third year of junior high school student, my music teacher said to me “You improved a piano very much!” I was very happy! My friend who is other class’s accompanist said to me “Let’s do our best!”. We practice the piano together many times. I was encouraged by the teacher and friend. And I could enjoy playing the piano. My class could not get award, but I had a good experience.

 

The sounds of piano are beautiful. But some people dislike the sounds. For example, if you play the piano at night, people who live near you feel annoyed. The piano sounds loud. As a matter of fact, I have listened to the sound of my sister playing the piano when I am near my home. A electronic piano can adjust the volume, but a piano with strings can’t. Recently, there are piano that can listen to the sound by using earphone and headphone. I think we have to consider people around us when we play the piano.

Also, street piano is popular now. Street piano is a piano placed in a public place such as a city and street corner that anyone can play freely. There are some artists became famous by street piano. I think we can make a town prosperous by using street piano, because many people come to a town for watch street piano.
